The Zoology association “உயிர்மை” was inaugurated on 9-02-2023 for the academic year 2022-2023 .Dr.Mrs N.Rama ,Principal delivered the presidential address and Dr.Yazhini Jagadeesan Head Department of Zoology introduced the speaker .The association was inaugurated by Dr.R.Raja founder and president of Royal Health Care And Charitable Trust And Director Of Royal Multicare. He enlightened the gathering on the topic-“HEALTH AND HYGIENE PRACTICES POST PANDEMIC SCENARIO”. The major thrust area of the lecture focused on informative information on natural and ayurvedic methods of home based remedies where he suggested the intake of certain varieties of foods that delivered protective and therapeutic effects against COVID-19 and some of which also proved to be excellent immune boosters. He also emphasised the essence of indulging in healthy life style for the students who skipped their morning breakfast and indulged themselves in ingesting lunch quotient with junk food. The programme concluded with very interactive question and answer session. Miss.R.Jayasudha student representative of II.MSc proposed the vote of thanks.
