Seethakathi sentamizh mandra thodakka vizha and world literary day held on 9.9.2019 was inaugurated by Dr. Pugzhenthi ( Associate professor department of tamil,Nandhanam men’s college Chennai) and spoke about the speciality of tamil language. On the world literaray day , Idhaya geetham A Ramar gave a special speech.

             Seethakathi sentamizh mandra thodakka vizha held on 24.02.2023 was inaugurated by Dr.P.Jaiganesh (S.R.M.Science and techonology,Chennai) and spoke about the illakiyya parimanankall.

             On behalf of Seethakathi sentamizh mandram,our tamil department conducted various competition like speech, singing, essay writing,etc.

• Our college mutamizh vizha was held on 20.02.2020. The chief guest Dr.Murali Arooban ( Assistant Professor, Tamil Department , New College,Chennai).Murali Arooban spoke about iyal tamil, Mr.Jaikrish spoke about isai tamil, and an art performance was given by the students of tamil department .


• Our college mutamizh vizha was held on 06-04-2023. The chief guests were kavingar Dr .J.Hajakani HOD of Quaid -E-Millath mens college medavakkam and Dr.R.Kaleeswaran, kalai illakkiya pirivu Loyola college Chennai. A dance performance was given by our college NCC students
