19.12.2019	The National Mathematics day was celebrated in commemoration of the birth day of the great Indian Mathematics Legend Srinivasa Ramanujan. Dr. R. Sivaraman, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, D G Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, Chennai, delivered a resource talk on “An Insight into Srinivasa Ramanujan’s work”.
24.06.2020	Webinar was organized on 24th June 2020. The Resource person Dr.Maruthu, Associate Professor, Bharathidhasan University delivered a lecture on the Topic “An Invitation to Functional Analysis”
22.12.2021	NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY In connection with National Mathematics Day both UG and PG Students enthusiastically participated in various competitions like Quiz, Mehandi, Math modeling, Math Songs etc., on 22.12.2021.
27.04.2022	Mathematics Association “DIGIMATHS 2022 The Chief Guest Dr. Ramajayam Sahadevan , Member Syndicate, Thiruvalluvar University, Former Director and Head, Ramanujan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, Former Dean(Research), University of Madras, Chennai-600 005 delivered the inaugural address on “Importance and Applications of Mathematics”.

24.01.2023	Mathematics Association “DIGIMATHS 2023 The Chief Guest Dr.R.Prabha M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D, Head, Department of Mathematics, Ethiraj College for Women , Chennai delivered the inaugural address on “Be Proud – You are a Mathematician” and motivated the students for pursuing Mathematics Course and on the scope of Mathematics benefitting UG & PG students
28.02.2023	National Science Day and National Mathematics Day were jointly celebrated on 28th February 2023. In tune with the theme “Global Science for Global Well Being”. The Chief Guest R.Prabhavathy, Scientist G (Retired),CVRDE, Ministry of Defence inspired the gathering with an insight into the technical advancement in CVRDE & DRDO and prospects for Mathematics Graduates in heterogeneous fields specifically in Defence Sector.
28.02.2023	Three parallel technical workshops with hands-on training on emerging topics - “Python Programming”, “Documentation using Latex” and “Effective Handling of Matlab / Maple”, were organised to enhance the employment opportunities for Mathematics UG and PG Graduates.
