NCC - NATIONAL CADET CORPS

The college offers training in NCC for the students. The students are admitted in NCC once they gain admission in the college. NCC uniforms and other benefits applicable to the NCC are offered to the students without any charges.

Students who exhibit interest and show active participation are selected and appointed as leaders and are sent to Delhi to participate in the Republic Day parade.

NCC of Quaid-E-Millath College For Women (Autonomous) functions under the leadership of Captain Dr. R. Selvi, Associate NCC Officer.

  • 20 cadets appeared for NCC ’C’ Certificate Examination in March 2022 at WCC college.
  • REPUBLIC DAY CAMP (RDC) - Contingent Drill, Guard of Honour, Individual Drill, Best Cadet, Flag Area, Line Area, Culturals (Group Dance, Group Song, Niap)
  • TALSAINIK CAMP (TSC) Obstacles, Tent Pitching, Firing, Health&Hygiene, Field Craft & Battle Craft, Map Reading.

  • Madras Republic Day Camp (MRDC) held at marina beach on Republic Day 2cadets where participated from our college
  • NCC cadets participated in CATC at WCC, TSC CUM CATC Anna nagar, CATC CUM RDC Training-I at kundrathur, CATC CUM RDC Training- II at Manimangalam Tambaram, CATC CUM RDC Training -III at Manimangalam Tambaram, CATC CUM RDC Training- -IV at Manimangalam Tambaram, IGC CUM RDC Training-I at Madurai, IGC CUM RDC Training-II at Madurai, IGC CUM RDC Training-III at Madurai, Trekking Camp at Nilgiri hills, EBSB Camp at kunnam, Annual Training camp at Avadi MRDC Training-I at Melmaruvathur, MRDC Training-II at Presidency College.
  • Stimulator firing at WCC College was actively attended by 30 cadets from our college.

    • SOCIAL AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

  • Social awareness programs activities included celebration of Cycle Rally at Ethiraj College, Pollution Event at Marina Beach, International yoga day at Our college, Drive Against Drugs at Kalaivanar Arangam, Blood donation camp at Madras Christian College Celebration For India’s Vijay Diwas Marathon at Island Ground.
  • NCC volunteers actively participated in Puneet Sagar Abhiyan at Naval Coastal Beach, Nasha Mukti Abhiyan at D.G.Vaishnav College.
  • NCC volunteers conducted social awareness event on the topic women empowerment, Save Trees Save Birds and rally on legal issues on child labour and education for the THALIR event in the month of December 2022
